I had a couple of false starts, but as it is surely obvious, The Greenlee Gazette is quite dead. Or a deep, deep coma. I found, even though there has been more to write about forever, that social media sort of replaced my urge for self-expression in long-form blogs.
I did have fun doing this, and did it for quite a long time. I even had a bit of a head of steam for a little while, gathering visitors and comments. But, since I never did it for money, and it's so easy to express yourself on various platforms now, it just didn't seem like a worthwhile pastime anymore.
But who knows? I may revive it someday. After all, the blog itself was a revival of my Xeroxed school one-sheet paper I used to make in 6th grade for my whole class. So, this wasn't its first life, nor its first demise!
On that note, RIP, The Greenlee Gazette, and long live The Greenlee Gazette!
