JibJab's 2008: Year in Review

2008 was good in some ways, and terrible in others. While we can hope that it portends better things, we will not be sorry to see it go. Still, it's fun to watch JibJab's darkly humerous take on the year that was. Enjoy.

My Mother's Day Message to Mom!

JibJab has some Mother's Day movies they've just put up that you can upload your Mom's photo into. It's pretty cool, and better than most internet "cards." Here's the one I made. Check it out!

Oh, and Happy Mother's Day, Mom! Shoot, she's getting the best present of all. . .I'm going home for a visit on Friday. Should I wear a bow and a card?

Murder Your Friends! (Jib Jab Starring You)

Just in time for Halloween, JibJab has a couple of new "Starring You!" videos available for posting. As a horror movie fan for as long as I was old enough to sneak into them, this was a lot of fun. I put some of my friends (Les, Dona, Denny, Kardinal, Andy and me) into starring roles in Math Camp Massacre!

I gave Les the starring role as the killer, since there wasn't a spot for him in the last video. Poor Kardinal suffers the worst fate--chainsaw victim! That's what you get for doing math naked. . .

Anyway, it's a heck of a lot of fun, and just about anybody could do it. All you need are some digital photos of your friends, a little patience when editing your starring "heads," and presto! There is also an extreme action movie, as well as several non-talkie dancing videos. Have fun!

And be warned, this video is a little extreme, even for cartoon violence. So if you have a delicate constitution, avoid pressing play. . .if you CAN. . .ha! ha! ha!
