I'll admit, it was too good to be true. The production values of It's Raining McCain and Here Comes McCain again were simultaneously too good and too bad to be true. I've gotta hand it to Jon Benjamin, the producer of both--he got quite a lot of attention with these horrific songs!

McCain Girls: Here Comes McCain Again

Holy mackerel. John McCain, lacking most of the internet "viral videos" of campaign songs, at least has The McCain Girls to rely on. This time, they're taking on The Eurythmics. Annie Lennox should sue.



UPDATE: I've got to tell you, I'd only watched a few seconds of this before I posted it. In keeping with the "blogger's rule," I must keep this posted. McCain Girl Has Some Words for Us

A while back, a horrendous video by "The McCain Girls," called It's Raining McCain infested the internets. It's a takeoff on The Weather Girls' immortal gay camp classic, It's Raining Men, singing the praises of (and washing their faces in) John McCain. It's bad, oh-so-bad.

Not surprisingly, it has generated much derision in the blogosphere since its release. But somebody--the lead singer, specifically--is none to happy about the response. And has she got news for you. WARNING: She has a potty mouth.
