Around this editor's household, waistlines have expanded over the last couple of years. We may even be obese by technical standards--but not by most sane persons. We could just stand to lose a few. . .dozen. . .pounds. Anyway, if we don't get back on the treadmill, we may find ourselves outcasts, pariahs--like smokers--in restaurants in the near future.
