Latest News Meme: Barack Obama is Uppity

I'm not kidding. The big story today, from all over punditry and the blogosphere, is that Barack Obama doesn't know his place, that he's acting presumptuous, behaving like he's already President. They didn't actually use the word uppity, but the message was pretty clear. All of this was apparently because of a quote taken out of context. But even after the full context of the quote was revealed, the meme is still out there.

Rachel Maddow (yep, her again) had a terrific analysis of this on her radio program today, with a collage of how often cable news used the phrase "is he being presumptuous?" But I don't have a recording to report. So here, from MSNBC is a little of the basic theme of the day.
