Michele "Crazy Eyes" Bachmann Getting Serious About Running for Prez?

Really? Are we going for cartoon time again? The last batch of Republican hopefuls for president was already as cartoonish as we could have imagined. John McCain was the classic "angry old man," Sarah Palin the snowbilly, Mike Huckabee the Hee-Haw evangelist, Rudy "a noun, a verb and 9/11" Giuliani, and lantern jawed Mitt Romney. . .a collection of easily lampooned politicos all. It was like if all of the contenders on the left were like elfin Dennis Kucinich. But now, in a seemingly wide open field for the GOP 2012 nomination, the most surreal character of them all is starting to make noise.

Michele Bachmann is well known mostly because she's batshit crazy. I'm not sure any other person would bring up as many Google hits in association with that term, other than Charlie Sheen who has passed her recently, and Sarah Palin.  But Palin is only crazy in the colloquial sense. Bachmann is actually nuts. Her candidacy could be very entertaining.
