In all of my previous Blast from the Pasts, somehow, I've left out The Bangles. Apparently, the group has had a whole lot of drama over the fact that they're all accomplished, harmonizing (I'm talking to you, Bananarama) singers, but everybody thought it was The Bangles, Starring Susanna Hoffs. Some people are so touchy.
But, The Bangles managed to squeak out a number of pop confections before jealousy tore them asunder. And after too, though their renaissance hasn't been quite as stellar as their launch. And, hey, is that Star Trek's "Mr. Spock," Leonard Nimoy in Going Down to Liverpool?
