One World Trade Center: Tallest Building in New York

When I started hearing the buzz on this story, I thought that One World Trade Center was done. And I thought, "where was the buildup for that?" But it's not. It's just risen past the Empire State Building in height on its way up. Which is kind of a bummer. I mean, it's been almost eleven years. Living in Las Vegas where we (used to) put up mega-resorts in just a year or two. . .well, I just mean, what's taken so long?
