Judge: Va. same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional

A federal judge ruled Thursday that Virginia's ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional, making it the first state in the South to have its voter-approved prohibition overturned. U.S. District Judge Arenda Wright Allen issued a stay of her order while it is appealed, meaning that gay couples in Virginia will still not be able to marry until the case is ultimately resolved. Both sides believe the case won't be settled until the Supreme Court decides to hear it or one like it. . .

  1. Too bad that the judge in the case, an Obama appointee is law school drop out or should have been.
    She doesn't know the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence... something they don't even teach in law school, as they assume they know the difference.
    I think this will be overturned, if only because the judge was pretty stupid.

  3. She said that the phrase "All men are created equal" came from the constitution but instead was from the Declaration of Independence.
