Broken Record: Computer Woes Continue (And I know it's Boring!)

Arrrggghhh!!! I know that Greenlee Gazette has been sparse and a bit boring, but those computer problems I keep boring you with? They continue.

Today, I decided I'd had enough with my portable cloud drive, and decided to replace it. I suspect that much of the problem has that as its root. But getting all of that data off of there, with a computer that I suspect is hobbled by that device. . .oy.

So, I won't go into any more detail unless I solve my problems and can help others with the information. Instead, I'm going to try to get a few things up on the blog while I attempt CPR on my business computer! Wish me luck!

Blogger is Back! Now What?

Blogger--the service that hosts this blog--has been offline since sometime on Thursday. Hence the lack of posts since then. It's been a weird couple of days, not being able to blog. Oddly, having an excuse not to post anything has just given me withdrawal symptoms! But now that Google has fixed the service (and I just found out by clicking to check it out), I've got stuff to do. So, I promise to get a few posts up today, but for now I have to go out and get some exercise and then some lunch.

Anyway, it looks like  everything isn't back up to normal. It won't even let me put a photo in here. [The PC let me add a picture, or maybe they finally fixed it]

UPDATED to add that I'm bummed that my last six or seven blog posts disappeared into the ether. There was good stuff there! And it makes me look like I'm slacking. Back soon.

Technical Difficulties: Another Update

If there is a downturn in posting at Greenlee Gazette this week, please don't take that to indicate a loss of interest in the blog. We're still experiencing outages in our broadband service today. After my fifth trip through the automated queue at COX, I have a technician scheduled for a Friday visit.

Hopefully, my sporadic outages will be during the day, while I'm at work. It's holding on right now, so I'm crossing my fingers. Please stand by.
