Westboro Baptist Church Van Gets Tires Slashed; Nobody Helps!

I make a lot of fun of the wacky characters in our politics, but the crazy crown really has to go to the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas. You know, the terminally hateful Fred Phelps clan, who picket sodiers' funerals and anything to do with "the gay." Or not, really. They'll picket anything, with their "God Hates F*gs" and "God Hates America" signs.  Well, somebody got a little revenge on WBC by slashing their van's tires--something I don't endorse, but will not cry about--at one of their events. Funny thing, but these "good Christians" couldn't inspire much fellowship to help them fix it. So sad.

About a half-dozen members of the Westboro Baptist Church traveled to McAlester, Oklahoma Saturday to picket Army Sgt. Jason James McCluskey's funeral.



Following the protest, the group returned to their minivan to find that the front and rear tires on the passenger side of the vehicle had been slashed. . .
