David Ippolito's Tom Cruise Scares Me Updated for 2016

I haven't checked in with David Ippolito, "That Guitar Man from Central Park" in a while, but I hoped he had a new version of Tom Cruise Scares Me up for the 2016 election. He didn't disappoint. Well, not much. Ippolito is a Bernie Sanders supporter (not that there's anything wrong with that), and his update takes a shot at Hillary Clinton. But let me reiterate, that though Clinton is my preferred candidate, I'll happily support Bernie if he winds the nomination, and that all of the candidates on both sides "scare me" to one degree or another. But Bernie or Hillary much less so than anyone running on the Republican side.

New David Ippolito Song, Tea Party Anthem (I Want My Country Back)

David Ippolito--known as "That Guitar Man from Central Park"--renowned on this blog for his hilarious Tom Cruise Scares Me (Ann Coulter Scares Me) has a new song, to the tune of I Dreamed a Dream. And it's just as funny, if a little more controversial (and racy, language wise, gentle reader). I love it!

And yes, if you think you recognize him from a Cialis ad, improbably, you do.

David Ippolito: Facebook is a Stupid Idiot

More comedy from "That Guitar Man from Central Park," David Ippolito. He pretty much nails Facebook, which I do use, but I agree with him on a lot of his points.  And what the f**k is FarmVille?

David Ippolito's Resolution

David Ippolito, "That Guitar Man from Central Park" is best known for snarky tunes like Tom Cruise Scares Me. But this tune, which skews a little more toward rock and hip-hop than his usual folky style, targets the very serious subject of torture. And it takes George W. Bush and Dick Cheney (plus the rest of the sorry Bush Administration) to task for their part in it. And for you folks who think that liberals don't hold our own accountable, Ippolito does not spare President Barack Obama for his reluctance to do something about it either.

Anyway, despite the serious subject matter, the video is entertaining, and Ippolito is--let's face it--easy on the eyes, and ears. So, enjoy.

And a blast from the (thankfully past): They Don't Know Palin

David Ippolito: Glenn Beck Scares Me!

Today, David Ippolito, "That Guitar Man from Central Park" stopped by to leave me a comment, and a link for his newest song. I find his humor engaging (and he ain't hard on the eyes either), so how could I refuse? Add to that the subject of his song, and it was an easy bet that I'd be posting it.

Stephen Colbert & David Ippolito: "Special Kind of Friendship"

You already know who Stephen Colbert is. But have you heard of David Ippolito? He's "That Guitar Man from Central Park." He's a barefoot (sometimes bare chested) guitar playing singer, and he's apparently got quite a following. I first heard of him on The Thom Hartmann Show, singing "Tom Cruise Scares Me," which also took on Dick Cheney and Ann Coulter.

This video teams him up with Colbert (OK, probably not).

David Ippolito: Oh, Exxon! (Barry Manilow Parody)

Since I'll be away for much of the day (see post below), I will not have much if anything else on the blog today. So I leave you with this little song parody from David Ippolito (the Guitar Man from Central Park). It isn't new, but it's as timely as ever.

Oh, Exxon!

Bill O'Reilly: The Big Giant Head

On the occasion of Bill O'Reilly's interview with Hillary Clinton tonight on The O'Reilly Factor on FOX "News," here's a little ditty by The Guitar Man from Central Park, David Ippolito. He's the singer-songwriter of the hilarious Tom Cruise Scares Me. Enjoy. (And yeah, I know I've posted this before. Sue me.)

Bill O'Reilly Song: The Big Giant Head

Happy Saturday night, everybody. I was looking for another song by David Ippolito, The Guitar Man from Central Park (Ann Coulter/Tom Cruise Scares Me), and happened upon this one. Sure, it's almost a year old, but it's just as true as ever.

If you've ever wondered how a man who employs the art of spin (often inartfully) every single day managed to become the number one show in cable news. . .while calling his program "the no spin-zone," you need to watch this video. Enjoy.
