Back to Blogging on Tuesday Night!

It's been a pretty spotty summer--particularly July--here at Greenlee Gazette. I know, and I'm sorry. But for most of the next six days, The Other Half will be away. And my struggles with computer upgrades (particularly Windows 8--oy!) will be down to a dull roar. It's taken all of my Monday time though, so I'm just going to leave you with this Maru video to tide you over. Back soon!

Frivolity Break: More Maru from a Tired Blogger

I like to try to put something new up for the next day (in this case, Thursday), to keep the blog fresh. But truth be told, I'm not finding anything I care to post. Some days are like that.

One thing that always makes me smile is Maru, the Scottish Fold tabby cat from Japan. He's adorable, and funny as all get out. In this particular video, Maru looks as disinterested as I feel at the moment. But he gives in to his nature, and eventually takes the bait. I'll be back later in the day, and I'll try to be more inspired. Until then, have a great day!

Back to Ohio, Day Four: Back to Las Vegas!

I have no idea if I'll have time to post anything to the blog today. My flight leaves from Columbus at around 5:00 pm, with a travel day that doesn't conclude until 11:00 pm Pacific Time. That's nine hours if you're keeping score at home.

Ohio will always own a piece of me, but Las Vegas is home. So while it will have been nice to see the family--especially little Lux--coming home will be a treat too. Well, except for returning to work another nine hours after getting home.

If you see this blog post up at the top of the page on Tuesday morning, it means I had no time to blog anything else, and that Stupid Monkey Planet didn't either. But please check back this evening. Unless I'm drop-dead tired, in which case you might see this Wednesday morning!
