At the risk of O.D.ing on teh gay, this YouTube video explanation of "the gay thing" is too entertaining, and too informative to pass up. It may be old news to you, but it's the first time I've seen it. Check it out, you might learn something!
Well, I'm never going to look at an elephant the same way again. Seriously, from what I have observed in high school, I think the male who is says he is gay is going to be going to be a gay man. However, I think it is different with females. Sometimes the queen lesbian in high school often is popular and so other kids will hang around her to be popular, even doing some gay things like holding hands and kissing in public. But in reality and away from the other kids, I don't think many of them are gay. Just an observation.
I can't really speak to the lesbian issue, though like you, I tend to think that "experimentation" among girls is probably a lot less taboo, and probably more common. Being a gay boy is still so much more difficult to process. But whenever people claim it is a "choice," I'm sort of perplexed. It is as if people claiming this NEVER knew a kid who was OBVIOUS from his early days. I'd like to think that I wasn't but there were a couple of kids who were so clearly gay from such an early age. . .you can't conclude ANYTHING but "born this way."
