Keith Olbermann's Special Comment on Torture

Yes, I'm a little MSNBC-heavy today. But sometimes, the stuff is so good, I feel the need to share it. After all, these programs are only watched regularly by 1-2 million people per night, so many have missed them, right? OK.

Now that we have a different President, and a different party in power, one would think that Countdown with Keith Olbermann's "Special Comments" feature would be retired. I mean, Olbermann is rather famously derided as a Democratic Howard Beale, rabidly foaming on about George W. Bush and his cronies. Now, if you believe what you read in right-wing world, Olbermann would only be complaining about the former administration and any current obstructionists from the GOP. But he's not. He's taking Obama to task on his recent statements about torture and war crimes.

If you want to get picky, Olbermann is talking about investigating the potential crimes of George W. Bush's administration. But honestly, if we really are talking about war crimes here (and we are), how can anyone justify sweeping it under the rug?
