Catching Up With the News #1: Rich Iott's Nazi Problem

This past weekend, I was a lazy blogger. There were a few big stories I meant to blog about, but I got busy doing. . .nothing. So, in case you missed them too, here's what I skipped for a few days. . .

Up first, Rich Iott (R-Ohio) and his Nazi problem.  I think it's fair to say that there's no good way to spin wearing a Nazi uniform outside of a Halloween costume. Even then, you'd have to admit that you made a tasteless decision. You know, like if you dressed as a pregnant nun or a priest with a boy on a leash: you were deliberately courting controversy.  Trying to spin it as a history buff bonding with his son for years in Nazi re-enactments may be the real reason Iott did it, but I'm not sure it washes away the stink.
