Not Xander! Surely, somebody conjured a demon (probably Dawn, probably by mistake--stupid Dawn!) that possessed him, and caused him to react badly. Giles will soon crack the case, and Xander will be no worse for wear. Or, Nicholas Brendon will go to rehab (again), and the cycle repeats.

Television actor Nicholas Brendon, who starred on the hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," was forcibly subdued and arrested by police during a violent altercation.

According to law enforcement officers in Venice, California, the 38-year old actor provoked officers into using a stun gun when Brendon allegedly attempted to strike the arresting officers. First, Three's Company star Joyce DeWitt (Janet) gets busted for driving while tipsy (surely a hilarious misunderstanding), and now Laverne & Shirley's "Big Ragu" Eddie Mekka (Carmine) finds himself in the same situation. Probably because Shirley still won't let him vo-dee-oh-doh-doh. I hope Anson Williams, Jimmy Baio and Pam Dawber all have designated drivers, because this looks to be an ABC 70s sitcom star epidemic.

Robert Novak Hits Pedestrian, Doesn't Notice

Have you ever been drawn into one of those discussions about there being an cutoff age for driving? I've always thought it sounded mean, but maybe there ought to be at least some kind of retesting after a certain age.

Case in point, reporter (and CIA covert operative cover blower) Robert Novak, 77, hit a guy in a crosswalk today. He was tooling around in his black Corvette, and plowed into a guy who had a "WALK" sign in his favor, reportedly bouncing him off the windshield. And Novak just kept going like nothing happened. How do you not notice something like that?

Of course, he may have been lying, and had simply planned on hitting and running. I've got to say, the cops seem to have let the old guy off easy. Certainly easier than they'd treat most hit-and-run drivers, don't you think?

Actually, he's always weird, but this time he's been criminally weird. Nice photo, Andy. Trying to out-Nolte Nick Nolte?

For the record, I loved NewsRadio, and even Dick's character, Matthew. But I liked Joe Rogan's too, and, well. . .nevermind.
