Karl Rove is finally taking his leave. What will Bush do without his brain? Yes, Karl has been acting as The Decider's brain all this time. So imagine the Commander Guy entirely without one!
But, Karl, really. . .did you have to use the "spend time with my family" excuse? That is so trite, so common, so below an evil genius such as yourself. The real reason of course, is probably to steer another candidate, to slime and smear that candidate's opponent. Karl has had his fingers on too many control wires. I find it hard to believe he could go back to being just a private citizen. We shall see.
I only hope he isn't allowed to slink into the night, with no accountability for his actions. My personal belief is that--as it regards the many known (and unknown) Bush Administration scandals --Karl Rove is at the root of them all. In fact, I have no doubt. If there is any such thing as justice, and such a thing as karma, Karl Rove will not be allowed to just fade away.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 — Karl Rove, the political adviser who masterminded President George W. Bush’s two winning presidential campaigns and secured his own place in history as a political strategist with extraordinary influence within the White House, is resigning, the White House confirmed today.
In an interview published this morning in The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Rove said, “I just think it’s time,” adding, “There’s always something that can keep you here, and as much as I’d like to be here, I’ve got to do this for the sake of my family.”
