What's Wrong With Karl Rove?

I still see it in my dreams.

The question asked in the headline, and in the excerpted article below is rather vague, isn't it? What isn't wrong with Karl Rove? The man is made of wrong. Wrong is his thing, his schtick. And I mean that both in the sense of "that boy ain't right" kind of wrong, and just plain old incorrect. I will always lament the fact that Rove wasn't frog marched out of the White House. If anyone ever deserved it, it is that bag of pus. It was great to see him lose his shit on live TV, right there on FOX "News," on election night 2012. But it wasn't enough!

My biggest question is, after that humiliating event, and after Rove threw tens and hundreds of millions of Republican donor money into the crapper, why is he still making pronouncements, getting gigs, and being treated as though what he says means anything? Just how does he legally manage to be a big GOP fundraiser and an on-screen commentator? And it bears repeating: he's just a hideous human being.

Karl Rove's "Cool President" Ad Backfires

Showing Barack Obama being cool in various venues is probably not a good idea for Karl Rove's super-dollar SuperPAC. I know Karl thinks it's a great idea to take an opponent's strength and try to use it against him, but in this case, it's a huge fail. And is Karl going to disavow Sarah Palin, who quit her job in politics to become the conservatives' biggest celebrity? Because that's all she is.

Anyway, to the question of are we better off than we were in the waning days of the Bush Administration? Yes, actually. We're not losing jobs anymore. We're in one less war. Osama bin Laden is dead. Chrysler and GM are alive. The stock market has doubled. We're not out of the woods, but we're headed there. And what does Romney (via Karl) promise? The same crap that took us to the brink in the first place? No thanks. I'll take the cool guy.

Even Karl Rove Thinks Boehner Blew It

On the way home from work, I heard our local right-winger (well, one of them) on the radio. His name is Kevin Wall, and he's sort of new. When he's not beating a local story to death, he's spinning the news to the advantage of conservatives, and is fond of blaming President Obama for anything. On Wednesday night, he was giving it his best shot, making Harry Reid the problem with the Payroll Tax Holiday Extension fiasco. But even with the ease that conservatives in Nevada blame Harry Reid, Wall wasn't very convincing on this one

And no wonder! The Senate managed to pass their extension by eighty-nine votes. You can't get eighty-nine votes affirming the cuteness of puppies in the Senate. What exactly was John Boner Boehner holding out for? It would seem that Boehner is spectacularly bad at his job.

"Traditional Marriage" Advocate Karl Rove Divorced. Again.

And speaking of Karl "Turdblossom" Rove, here's an interesting tidbit. Not only Is Rove--who has used gays and gay marriage to further many a political end--getting divorced again, he wants his privacy protected. HA!!! If Rove has ever sensed even a crumb of political hay to be made by invading someone's privacy, he has done so.

As someone who believes Rove should be behind bars as a prison wife, I'm galled just to see him flapping his jowls on FOX "News." But if seeing his corpulent, pasty face with the scrote hair on top is the price I pay to see this man's privacy invaded, so be it. Go to it. Rake him over the freaking coals. Nobody deserves it more. Anyway, isn't it time for Rove to finally settle down with Jeff Gannon?

What Happens in Vegas: Mr. Potty vs. Karl Rove

This morning, a sanitation tanker truck from "Mr. Potty" blew a tire, and then a valve, releasing noxious waste all over U.S. 95. The same day, Mr. Turdblossom was on the radio promoting an appearance here in Las Vegas. I'll leave it for you to decide just who stank up the valley more. . .

It was mildly amusing to hear conservative radio KXNT-AM's Alan Stock refer to Karl Rove as a "political consultant," to the dismay of the corpulent "author." If you feel the need to hear the interview, it can be had here.

The only thing good about Karl Rove is that he is (allegedly) no longer affecting policy. Even better, in less than a month, even the "allegedly" will be removed. But Rove still has the ear of many a conservative (thanks to his regular appearances on FOX "News") and is spinning like mad to polish up the mess of a legacy left by the Bush Administration.

Rove's latest words of wisdom have to do with our rights, and the potential infringement upon them by the current administration. He's essentially saying "trust me," don't worry about it! Mmm hmm. I trust him about as far as three men could throw him.

Michael Connell Suicided? Nutty Theory or Distinct Possibility?

Another light blogging day here at Greenlee Gazette, but since most bloggers take weekends off, I always like to post a few things to keep the page current. Still, with the steep drop-off in readers since the election (down about 85%!!!), there aren't too many checking anyway.

So, as we enter into the holidays, expect a few things everyday, but less than usual.

This one is too good not to share. You heard about the death of Karl Rove's IT guru, Michael Connell, right? He was about to testify on his involvement with Turdblossom's unsavory (very likely illegal) activities, and then died in a plane crash.

Unsurprisingly, some people find this to be a little more than a coincidence. It doesn't take much for political junkies of any stripe to start seeing conspiracy theories, but this one lines up so neatly, even the more sane among us are starting to wonder.
