Steven Weber at Huffington Post: Ocean's 43

My favorite blogger at HuffingtonPost.com (closely followed by Arianna herself), as I've said before, is actor Steven Weber. He has another great post up, summing up the Bush Administration as a Hollywood Movie.

Oh, it was sweet, this one. They researched the hell out of it for decades, patiently watching the behavior, noting the patterns, seeding the grassroots, rehearsing it over and over and over---and baby, PULLED. IT. OFF.

  1. Bush has slapped democracy? So, I assume that the continued bashing of the Second Ammendment by Liberals is an affront to democracy in your eyes?

  2. Quite a time gap between my post and your comment, but thanks for stopping by, just the same.

I'm ambivelant on the 2nd ammendment question. I grew up around guns, have very little problem with them, but am a little freaked out by people who amass arsenals simply because they think it's a Constitutional directive.

Have liberals abused parts of the Constitution, though? Undoubtedly, and I'd never defend them for it. But, GWB & Co. have used it for toilet paper, wadded it up and flushed it. I understand your championing of the 2nd Amendment, but many people of your mindset seem to ONLY care about the 2nd. What about the rest?
