"Meh" is Officially a Word!


M-E-H, meh. It's a word that kinda means, blah. And it was popularized by The Simpsons several seasons ago. It's been an official word in our household ever since, along with D'oh!, Jeebus, embiggen, saxamaphone, and unpossible! Of course, The Other Half and I probably have The Simpsons to credit for our early "clickitude" than anything else. Without it, our relationship may have never gotten past meh!

The expression of indifference or boredom has gained a place in the Collins English Dictionary after generating a surprising amount of enthusiasm among lexicographers.Publisher HarperCollins announced Monday the word had been chosen from terms suggested by the public for inclusion in the dictionary's 30th anniversary edition, to be published next year. . .
