If you think 100 days of President Barack Obama, the party-switching of Arlen Specter, the imminent seating of Al Franken as Senator, and the disintegration of the GOP have conservatives going bananas, you may have seen nothing yet. Now, we have the news that Supreme Court Justice Souter is retiring from the bench. Which means, that Obama will get to appoint a new justice, with a Senate that is decidedly in his corner.
Now, do you think that Republicans are more likely to filibuster, or to demand an "up or down vote?" Considering how strenuously they barked the latter during the Bush Era, you could be forgiven for guessing wrong.
