. . .The US is just not a white, hetero, 50's fantasy (was it ever, really?). But just try and tell that to the desperately white, frantically hetero Tea Baggers who have had their sacks steeping in Sarah's brain-free broth for so long that they'd hang you in effigy, put you in the stocks and otherwise excommunicate you from the brotherhood of besotted baggery. . .

Steven Weber is a classic spoiled, sassy child of America. He shoots off his uber-loud mouth with bizarre rants against the country where he has been free all his life, and has made his fame and fortune. He's an arrogant overwriting weasel with venom dripping from every word. He could never stand up to an honest debate against an informed, reasoned opponent. He's a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteAll that because he dissed Sister Sarah? Please. I happen to agree with most of Weber's opinions, which is why I've so often featured his posts here on my blog. I'm not sure how he'd do in a debate, but an "informed, reasoned" one between Palin and ANYONE has never happened.

ReplyDeleteThe only debate we know about is Palin's debate with Joe Biden. She more than held her own, although many people think that's not saying much. It's not that Mr. Weber disses Palin (which he does on a regular basis on HuffPo), it's the meanness of his attacks. The juvenile name-calling. That's supposed to be the purview of the right. It's hypocritical. Mr. Weber's better than that; he's got brainpower all over the place and he demeans himself.
Also, I'm no Sarah Palin fan, in terms of her being a political candidate. She's quirky, to put it nicely. But she's not the devil incarnate because she's pro life or believes in gun rights. Or for any of her other views. To think of her that way is wildly over-reactive.
Anyway, Mr. Weber disappoints me with his out-of-control rants. He was one of my very best favorite actors, and now all I can see is an angry man who - I hate to say it - has no class.
What you see as a lack of class, I see as marvelously snarky, sarcastic, biting humor. I guess it just depends on how you see it. Sometimes he can get rather dark, but most of the time, he's hit the nail squarely on the head, from my point of view. Different strokes. . .

The Deckers versions of ugg sandals Australia, Emu, Old Friend and ugg sandals boots are now made in China. However, ugg boots produced by Koolaburra and exported to the USA ugg are still made in Australia. Because of the uggs trademark laws you will find that many Australian and US manufacturers who produce this style of footwear are now marketing them as "Sheepskin Boots" rather than " Boots".
