20% Rise in Internet Hate

This doesn't shock me, particularly. There is a distinctly different tenor between liberal distaste for George W. Bush, and that expressed for Barack Obama by conservatives. Yes, there were plenty of nasty, invective-filled rants about Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice/Rove and the rest. But man, we had a mountain of stuff to bitch about. Big stuff. Hairy stuff.

But Obama Derangement Syndrome outdoes the Bush variety, and even outstrips the Clinton version. They were hurling epithets from day one. They hated this guy before he had done a single thing.
