The History of DC Comics on TV

I've often said in this space that I'm a comic book fan, specifically of DC Comics. I've also often lamented DC's relative lack of product, compared to rival Marvel Comics. But DC has had some success on TV, including the upcoming The Human Target with Mark Valley on FOX. Since the blog has been rather light this weekend, I thought it might be fun to put something non-political up for a change. And superheroes are one of my favorite diversions, so here you go!

The History of DC Comics on TV


This Sunday sees the premiere of Human Target on FOX – a new action series based on the DC Comic book of the same name. But Human Target is hardly the first TV version of a DC hero, and we thought we'd take the opportunity to look back at all of the DC heroes who've graced the small screen in the past – or in some cases, never got further than the pilot stage (most of the time for good reason). . .
