The Gay Thing: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Performs Same-sex Wedding

You go, you adorable, tiny little judge you! Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the first Supreme Court Justice to officiate a wedding for a gay couple. I haven't checked yet (but you know I'm right), but surely Right Wing World is spinning all wobbly over the news. I'm sure there will be calls for her to recuse herself from any case that has a whiff of "the gay" about it. I hope she refuses. As long as Clarence Thomas' wife is allowed to lobby her conservative causes, there is really no room to talk from the right. And why should performing a wedding--something SCOTUS justices are permitted to do--be a political act anyway?
