Rachel Maddow Takes Down John McCain & Sarah Palin

No, this is not a rerun from 2008. Since the new book Game Change came out, it has ruled the news cycle, with its Harry Reid "negro" comment, a seemingly racist statement by Bill Clinton about Barack Obama, and of course an evisceration of Sarah Palin. In a strange bit of timing, FOX "News"--ever fair and balanced--hired Palin as a political commenter, despite her lack of knowledge on just about everything. See Game Change.

Wasting no time, FOX trotted out Palin tonight, just hours after their announcement. Also wasting no time, Maddow got the clip of her debut minutes after it aired, and her deconstruction of it is highly entertaining. But it is her criticism of John McCain for unleashing this woman upon us, and for his lack of concern putting her a "heartbeat away" that really hits the mark. This is must see TV.
