Recently, a bizarre Republican ad saying "Thank you, Sarah Palin" was produced, to run during football on Thanksgiving. It's bizarre, because many people feel that Palin contributed mightily to the defeat of John McCain by Barack Obama. Making much more sense--and equally heartfelt--is this response ad by Democrats. Brilliant!

ReplyDeleteThe state of Hawai'i has issued a statement that Obama's birth certificate is valid and in order. He's been in politics for a dozen years or so, and has traveled outside the country on a valid US Passport, obtained using his valid birth certificate.
There is no issue here but the desperate wish of some conservatives to have the President-elect bounced on a technicality. Ridiculous.
Has any other President-elect been FORCED to go to "prove" his citizenship? Did you demand this of Bill Clinton or George W. Bush? Why or why not? Is it because Obama is a shade or three darker than those guys? This issue is so transparent.
