After an excruciating process of the most unbelievable hatred, bigotry and unadulterated ignorance on parade, Hawaii has managed to get marriage equality over the hardest hurdles. Now that it's passed three (yes, for some reason three) votes in Hawaii's House of Representatives, it goes back to their Senate and to the Governor, both which are virtually assured to pass.
So, the only question (besides what all of those hateful, obviously coached protestors are going to do with themselves) is, with Hawaii beat Illinois to the claim-to-fame of "15th state?" It will be a race to the finish between the governors and their signing pens! Either way, within days, there will be sixteen US states, plus DC with marriage equality. And that's a very good thing!
