Easter Island Statue Vandalized

Kids these days. Who would even think about doing something like this? It would be like trying to see if Stonehenge could fall like dominoes, or messing with David's doodle. It just is not done. Let's hope they fix the thing, and throw the book at the kid who did it. And yeah, I'm aware the guy was 26. Obviously, he hasn't got any more maturity than a kid.

Easter Island statue 'vandalized'

A Finnish tourist was detained after allegedly stealing a piece of volcanic rock from one of the massive Moai statues on Easter Island.

Marko Kulju, 26, faces seven years in prison and a fine of $19,100 if convicted of stealing pieces of the right earlobe from a Moai, one of numerous statues carved out of volcanic rock between 400 and 1,000 years ago to represent deceased ancestors. . .
