New York Times Profiles Rachel Maddow

I know! I was going to implement a Rachel Maddow moratorium on the blog, in an effort to keep her from filing a restraining order. But this is a nifty little article, and might point out to you why I like her so much.

Of note though, is that there isn't a decent flattering shot of her in the article. Her face is utterly obscured in two, and from a distance in two. I'm sure it's not a conspiracy, and more a case of the photographer being "arty." Very good photos as a matter of fact (check out the compact mirror on the table). But too bad that Maddow (who many may not be familiar with) isn't seen clearly.

We get a peek at the back of Maddow's head, a shot of her washed out image on a monitor, a far away shot of a makeup artist painting Maddow's face, eyes shut, and, our fav, a pic of her holding a Keith Olbermann mask directly over her face. . .
