During the recent, final (thank goodness) Presidential debate, John McCain tried to step away from the crazy nutballs in his audience by proclaiming them to be 1 or 2 out of 10 to 20 thousand people at a rally. The Other Half turned to me and asked, "Does McCain ever draw that many people?"
I think he has, but not often. And surely the numbers (even when Sarah Palin is the draw) pale in comparison to Barack Obama's numbers. Check this out, from red state Missouri:
