One of the standout--and silliest--parts of the final debate between Barack Obama and John McCain was "Joe the Plumber." McCain brought him up over and over, as the shining example of the flaws in Obama's economic plan.
Trouble is, Joe isn't all he's cracked up to be. In fact, he's not even Joe, he's Samuel. And to beat it all, he's not even an actual plumber. Wow.

Turns out that “Joe the Plumber,” as he became nationally known when Senator John McCain made him a theme at Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate, may run a plumbing business but he is not a licensed plumber. His full name is Samuel J. Wurzelbacher. And he owes a bit in back taxes.
