I've been a champion of FOX TV's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles since practically the first episode. Of course, I was a big fan of the original movie series too, well, the first two anyway. I think I've had five versions of Terminator 2 alone (VHS, LaserDisk, Ultimate DVD, Extreme DVD and Blu-Ray). And that's what got me hooked on T:TSCC, given the fact that it basically follows a storyline set up in T2. It ignores the shaky T3: Rise of the Machines, by sort of writing it out of the timeline. Good idea.
Anyway, this season, the show has had some really kick ass episodes, some of the best sci-fi/action stuff on TV. But the ratings have been sort of anemic, which has worried fans like me. Good news! It's been picked up for the full season. Which means, even if it only gets that many new episodes, we'll have a total of around 32 hours of Terminator mythos to add to our video collections. Cool!
