Sure, this post is kind of a cheat. But I'm a big fan of SNL--since the live airing of episode 1--through the (many) lows, and (less frequent) highs. So this hits my pop-culture sweet spot. My personal list of favorite funny females of Saturday Night Live would have to be:

- Tina Fey (Weekend Update, Sarah Palin)
- Julia Sweeney (Pat)
- Maya Rudolph (Bronx Beat, Noony)
- Jane Curtin (Weekend Update, Coneheads)- Robin Duke (Wendy Whiner)
