Keith Olbermann on "Praising" George W. Bush for Iraq War
The President gave a fairly ordinary speech Tuesday night, notable really only for its historic value (the end of the combat mission in Iraq) and its restraint over the controversial beginnings of the war. Conservative views of the speech tended to focus on the Oval Office decorations, Obama's weight, complexion and mannerisms. Oh, and he didn't mention George W. Bush enough. Though Bush's name was brought up three times, apparently Obama didn't give him enough credit for the War in Iraq. Or the surge. Or something.
In the following clip, Keith Olbermann and Jeremy Scahill lay waste to the very idea that the war or the surge were anything to celebrate in any way.
