Recently, self proclaimed tea party "outsider" Glenn Beck appealed to the tea baggers to stop wearing silly costumes, and holding badly spelled signs. Which would sap them of their "look at that shiny thing" media magnetism. I hope they go for it. but if they don't. . .

Funny video. One reason I am not a Tea Party person is that some people are so full of themselves and many people are in it to make a lot of money off of it. Just like Al Gore and global warming. Lot's of nuts and lot's of people taking advantage of global warming and making a lot of money off of it.
ReplyDeleteI believe that climate change is real, though I don't know if the more dire predictions are 100% accurate. But even if it's all malarky (a notion I don't think is likely), "green" energy is a great idea. Eventually gets us off of foreign oil, provides jobs and manufacturing here in the US. And if wind and solar grows big enough, eventually powering your house could mean the initial investment of equipment, and maintenance. No power bills!
