Yes, there is more focus on The Gay Thing on the blogs today. That is because--if you didn't know--today is "National Coming Out Day." And it's also because we are just three weeks away from a national election, where there are anti-gay ballot measures in a few states. California is the most prominent one, where Proposition 8 aims to bring a stop to same-sex marriage, which has been legal in California since June.
I've written a piece below on the issue, but was inspired by this article in the Huffington Post. I've heaped compliments on actor Steven Weber's writings in the past, so here I'll just say bravo Steven, good piece!
