Not everybody realizes it, but an elected President isn't "official" until the Electoral College actually casts their votes. It is unlikely that they wouldn't vote for the guy who won on election night, but you never know. Well, this time at least, we do know. Barack Obama was officially elected by the Electoral College yesterday.
Now will "FReepers" and crazy conspiracy theorists stop calling Obama the "President Select?" If this is any indication, probably not. . .

But whatever. He's in. And though these guys will undoubtedly try to stir up trouble for the four or eight years Obama is the 44th President, the will be seen as the looney tunes they are.
