I continue to be impressed by Barack Obama, as it applies to his positions and his actions. I am hopeful that he can brush off some of the (mostly ridiculous) charges levelled at him by Hillary Clinton and by Republicans, and clinch this thing in November. Sure, he could turn out to be a standard-issue politician, but I seriously doubt that. His so-called inexperience in Washington could be just what we need, in order to put an end to politics-as-usual.

Obama Calls for Investigation of VA Cost-Cutting PTSD Diagnoses
Yesterday, CREW and VoteVets.org released an email from a FOIA request that showed an employee in the Veterans Administration "suggesting" that staff ought to "refrain from giving a diagnosis of [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] straight out" to "compensation seeking veterans" and that VA staff members "really don't . . . have time to do the extensive testing that should be done to determine PTSD. . ."
