In this election--the first with a major candidate being African American--calls of racism will probably be levelled at things that really aren't. It's a fine line. Double meanings and questionable English will undoubtedly be parsed, and questionable claims will probably be made.
But this one seems pretty clear. Calling Michelle Obama--a very possible First Lady-to-be--Barack Obama's "Baby Mama" is at best ill advised. Especially since the term is associated with the negative stereotypes of the black community, and most prominently featured on shows like Maury, and The Jerry Springer Show. It also usually is in reference to people who have children out of wedlock.
It shouldn't be surprising out of FOX "News," but you'd think even they would be above this. But somehow less surprising seeing the visage of Michelle Malkin in the image. . .

Fox News calls Michelle Obama "Obama's Baby Mama"
An alert reader wrote in just a little while ago to let us know about something he'd spotted on Fox News Wednesday afternoon. During a segment discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, the wife of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama, the network described the former as "Obama's baby mama. . ."
