The Ultimate Response to Chick-fil-A Supporters

Did you think I could not post this? Found floating around Facebook.
Unless something particularly noteworthy happens on Friday's planned "kiss-in" at Chick-fil-A restaurants, I plan to move on to other topics here on the blog. This post, however, had to happen. Thanks to my friend Keith for bringing it to my attention. And don't let the title scare you off, that's just a play on words. This is the most concise, literate and well-thought-out articulation of the pro-marriage-equality side of the argument. I fully endorse it, and will direct all future questions to this as the answer. I encourage anyone with even half an interest in either side of this story to read it. Really read it.

The Chick Fellatio: stuck in the craw

. . .It’s definitely strange to have days-long Facebook debates flare up everywhere over a chicken sandwich. The anger, sarcasm, and hurt feelings on display seem strange or even laughable because most people have seen Chick-Fil-A as just a restaurant with a funny ad campaign. I’ll get into some of the whys and wherefores of that later. But, for now, let’s just say that, yes. It can seem ridiculous to get all worked up over fast-food chicken. . .
