The Gay Thing: Judge orders Ohio to Recognize Gay Couple’s Marriage

I'm not an attorney, nor am I any kind of legal expert. But I have to think this is a foot in the door to getting marriage equality in Ohio. Crossing fingers, because I may be moving back there one day.

Judge orders Ohio to recognize gay couple’s marriage

A federal judge ordered the state of Ohio on Monday to recognize the marriage of two gay men, one of whom is dying. According to Towleroad, Judge Timothy Black ruled that Ohio must list John Arthur as “married” on his death certificate and name his partner of 25 years, Jim Obergefell, as his “surviving spouse. . .”
