The Goonies: Where Are They Now?

I have very little time to post today, with a) truck repair that has ballooned to $1500, b) an eye doctor appointment, and c) a couple of social gatherings. So, in lieu of my usual blast of political news, here's something fun.

One of the most nostalgic movies of the 80s is undoubtedly Stephen Spielberg's and Richard Donner's The Goonies. I don't know if people under 35 really "get it" or not, but kids and young adults of the 80s have a soft spot in their heart for this one. It has now been (gulp) twenty two years since the movie came out, and most fans could quote lines, and know the names of the characters. Add in the great Cyndi Lauper theme, and you'll agree, The Goonies R (still) Good Enough!
