After the fracas detailed below, Real Time with Bill Maher got back on track, and was actually quite entertaining. I have to say, I admire Maher and his guests' ability to move on and ignore what could have just killed the show. I guess Chris Matthews, Sheila Jackson-Lee and Bill Maher have all had to deal with hecklers for a very long time, and it just doesn't faze them anymore.
Anyway, this week's "New Rules" segment was great, and his closing bit is one of the best he's done. Also, remember to go to HBO.com, and check out Overtime with Bill Maher, which is an extra 5-10 minutes of the show, with more new rules, and questions from the internet for the panel. It's very high quality, and just as good as the rest of the show. Fair warning: for some reason, the clips always refuse to play on my computer (either in Internet Explorer or Firefox), and I have to watch on The Other Half's PC.
