Wow, two Joe Lieberman posts in a row?
I can't see John McCain really picking Liebermann to be his running mate. McCain is already derided by his "base" as too liberal. Liebermann is considered to be too conservative by most actual liberals, but surely not by the ultra-right. The only thing I can see McCain thinking--if the choice is for real--is that since Joe Lieberman is Jewish, he'll slice away some of Barack Obama's own base.
This would seem like a pretty risky gambit to me, though. What would conservatives do about the nickname they gave him: Loserman?
