There seems to be a reluctance on the part of most of the press to question anything about John McCain's prisoner of war experience in Viet Nam. He is acknowledged to be a hero--even by Barack Obama--as a preamble to almost any criticism. Oddly, John Kerry was not afforded such deference.
Thankfully, there are people out there, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks being a prime example, who are willing to question the details. And often times, it would seem, what McCain has recounted do not hold up to scrutiny.
