The big "issue" on right-wing talk radio, and on right-wing blogs today was that Vice Presidential debate moderator, Gwen Ifill, has written a book about black politicians. Apparently, the fact that the name of the book includes the name "Obama" is enough to spark outrage from the right. Right-wing blowhole Sean Hannity even said that if he were a moderator, the left would go nuts.
Um, nuts wouldn't quite cover it pal. And you are not some sort of counterpart to Gwen Ifill. But the outrage was oddly timed. The information about Ifill's book has been widely available for months now, in fact was around when John McCain agreed to Ifill as a moderator. Could they just be floating an issue that allows them to cancel or postpone the debate? Or maybe they're just pre-loading an excuse, in case Sarah Palin performs badly? I guess we'll have to keep our fingers to the wind on this one.
