Palin: Mess on Main Street Affecting Wall Street?

OK, this might be seen as a cheap gotcha, picking on Sarah Palin for transposing Main Street and Wall Street, and coming out saying the opposite thing she meant to say. Joe Biden does similar things too, right?

Right, except that Joe knows what he's talking about, and just has a tendency to get tongue-tied. He has so much information he wants to impart, he tends to jumble things up. But Palin is regurgitating talking points that she's had crammed into her head over the last couple of weeks. She didn't transpose so much as she got her pet phrases run through a Cuisinart. She managed to work in "also," a word that ends up--sometimes several times--in almost every answer. I kept expecting her to add "such as" like Miss Teen South Carolina, and finish with "for our children."
