Blogging is tough work, and for many of us it is more a hobby than a job. Because of this, we often have to shoe-horn blogging into our schedules, leaving precious little time to double-check what we've said. Consequently, it is possible to write what you think is a brilliant post, and find out later that it reads more like word salad.
Now, that is all true for a little bitty blog like Greenlee Gazette. Outside of some occasional help from Stupid Monkey Planet (and thanks for that, Monkey!), my blog is pretty much a one-man show. Done for the fun of it, and sometimes for cheap therapy. I'm pretty sure that Power Line, a conservative blog, is not just somebody's hobby. And I'm equally sure that John Hinderaker--who is something of a web celeb--doesn't have to rattle off posts between his job and his real life. So how did this DOOZY of a post get published?
Even the commenters at Power Line have come crashing down on his head over this one, something conservative blog readers don't usually do. If you haven't already read this, you simply must. And read the comments, they're great (and a few are as delusional as the original post).
